Behind the Chair

As a makeup artist for more than 20 years, I've worked in television, film, live broadcasts, red carpets, commercials, and more weddings than I can count. My background spans years of live television with The Today Show, The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and NBC News, through to episodic series including Law & Order and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel — working with celebrities, rock stars, CEOs, models, and women of every age.

Those years trained my eye to notice the subtleties that make all the difference: skin, texture, proportion, color, and placement. Above all, I've learned that the right makeup should feel like you. My goal is simple: to help you look like the best, most confident version of yourself.

The Moment I Needed to Edit

The Beauty Edit came from something personal.

Skin changes — that's just what it does. Mine had. The texture was different, fine lines were more visible, sunspots a little darker. Of course it had. I'm 53.

The real shift came when I realized that some of the techniques and heavy products I'd relied on for years simply weren't serving me anymore. What used to give me a flawless finish now looked heavy or settled into lines. Even with decades behind the chair, I had to take a step back and rethink my own face.

I didn't need more makeup. I needed an edit.

I began adjusting my placement, lightening up formulas, and choosing products with intention. Because when you look in the mirror and actually love what you see, everything shifts. You walk out the door feeling completely like yourself.

Why The Beauty Edit Exists

I quickly realized I wasn't the only one having that experience.

So many women I talk to are still doing their makeup the exact same way they did twenty or thirty years ago. It's easy to understand why: once we find a routine that works, we hold on to it. But our skin changes, our features evolve, and what worked in our twenties often works against us now.

Great makeup at this stage of life isn't about trying to look 20 again, and it's certainly not about covering yourself up. It's about modern, weightless formulas and the right placement to help you look rested, radiant, and effortlessly put together.

The Beauty Edit was created to meet you where you are today.

Who This Is For

The Beauty Edit is for anyone who wants a more thoughtful, personal approach to beauty — whether your skin has changed, your routine feels stale, or you're ready to start fresh.

You don't need an overwhelming collection; you just need the right products that actually earn their place.

In our sessions, there is zero judgment. We look through what you already own, keep what's genuinely working, let go of what isn't, and fill in any missing pieces. Then I guide you hands-on through techniques tailored to your face — so getting ready feels easy, intuitive, and entirely yours.
